Jim has a lifetime of experience as a singer and has owned and operated Magical Music, a DJ company here on Long Island, for over 14 years. Jim
is a versatile performer who’s act varies by week and/or by event. His play list includes songs by theme or by genre or he mixes it up and performs
a variety of hits from the past. He is accompanied by a computer based sound system which allows him to take requests on the fly and his collection

According to Jim, “The question I get most often I ‘Can you play or sing something good?’ Everyone’s taste in music differs. What some might
consider a “good song” others may beg to differ. My job is to read the crowd and entertain them with song selections that they enjoy, to be diverse
and to be professional. By professional I mean that I treat your customers or guests with full respect as though the business were mine. Things like
the choice of songs or the level of sound are always in mind and I do my best to keep the atmosphere you have provided. As long as the request is
appropriate for the venue, assuming I know it and have a version that I can sing, I am always happy to give them what they want. If not, depending
on the type of performance and if I have it, I will play the song performed by the original artist.”
For your mutual protection Jim carries a million dollar liability insurance policy in the in the unlikely event that someone gets hurt during a
performance. He is a long standing member of both the A.D.J.A. (American Disc Jockey’s Association) and N.A.M.E (National Association of
Mobile Entertainers).
